Thanksgiving

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving early. My mother-in-law was visiting from Puerto Rico and was returning home before the holiday, so I decide to have Thanksgiving on the Sunday before she left. We had such a wonderful time. Everyone was there and we really enjoyed each others company.
It was really nice just to have that time with the family. Life can be so stressful, that you don't have time for family and/or friends. I really was thankful to have spent such a fabulous time with my family.

Doing it all

Why is life so difficult? Trying to keep up with school, work and a family is very exhausting. I just started a new job and I feel the pressure having to learn all the properties I represent at the job. The anxiety of finishing school work on time and making sure I cook for my family. Lastly the guilt of not having as much time for my children. I can't wait until another month when I'm comfortable at the job and I've found a way to balance it all. It's funny, when you start something new it turns your life upside down and after a couple of weeks, you can't even remember living any other way.

Trouble

My youngest child is driving me crazy. He can't stay still in class. I talk to him everyday before he goes to school, just to make sure he remembers the school rules. Somehow every couple of weeks he seems it get in trouble. Punishments, talks and yelling don't work. What is a mother to do? How can you control some-one else? He just can't sit still for a moment, not at school, home, or anywhere.

A girls night out

Being the only woman in a house with 3 boys and a husband can be really trying at times. Even my pets are males, I can't catch a break. I am the chef, the maid and the mediator. They all think my life revolves around them and I have nothing better to do then appease their needs/wants. I love them with all my heart, but their are days I want to run away. I think very women needs a break from her family, so that she can miss them. A girls night out always does the trick. I've noticed that one night out with the girls to vent and have fun can do miracles for a marriage. After a night out I can't wait to go home to my family.
